My other suggested ad response is still in good standing to this one.

“McCain called my plan to give tax cut breaks to over 100 million working American middle-class families an “economic disaster” at a time when they’re suffering from high gas prices, increases in their grocery budget, and utility bills in the winter. More lies from McCain, but that’s to be expected from a Republican like him.

Let’s examine the truth about the economic disaster this country has faced in the past eight years.

John McCain voted with George W. Bush every single time to increase the federal deficit by continuing the war in Iraq in the past eight years, [flash image of the national deficit] which has increased gas prices [image of gas prices before Iraq war and now] and the cost of groceries at home. [show cost of grocery bill for a family of 4] McCain also has lobbyists on his campaign that helped sell subprime mortgages to Americans. Millions of homes now have foreclosed. Now that IS an economic disaster.

Slink, I see this ad as great news. It’s entirely defensive and it pivots on the question, “Does McCain want to cost Ohio jobs or doesn’t he?” As long as this is the discussion, I’m happy. This is what going on the attack does.

Yes, and I agree with him/her, but I think there are two important points:

1) As we’ve seen in recent days, Obama’s been testing out sharper messaging in local markets, which hopefully he’ll roll out in the fall.

2) The Democratic convention will serve as a helpful reminder that Obama is, in fact, a Democrat.

I personally think he should just attack the idiocy of McCain’s message.

HOW does taxing the top 2% of Americans translate into a financial disaster?

HOW does tax breaks for companies (from one of the lower levels in the developed world) magically create financial stability?

HOW do you go from being “Bush Light” to a man of the people in 10 months?

Maybe he should record his campaign messages on 8track or 78rpm records so that McCain can take part in the message? Just what we need, another geriatric with one foot in the grave and the other on the plantation…

McCain wins, and I move back to Europe.. Cause well be f”’ed…

His taxes are a “recipe for economic disaster for some of the ultra rich, costing them literally millions out of billions of dollars a year.

That’s the real Obama.

Ready to tax the richest people in the country a litle more, and to lead.
