Obama vs. the other guy, 2008

I Heart Claire McCaskill

Claire and Obama

I don’t know if Obama is considering Sen. McCaskill for VP, but he should seriously consider her. She just went on MSNBC and ripped the McCain camp a new one for their (in her words) “stupid” ads. She really broke it down, accusing the “Bush/Rove” team of taking over the McCain ad message machine. In addition to being an excellent attack dog, she helped deliver Missouri to Obama, and endorsed him VERY early on. It would not hurt my feelings to see her in the VP role. I’ll add video if it becomes available, but it was a beautiful thing to watch.

  1. I also heart Claire – but she would be impossible to replace as a Senator from Missouri. The more I think about the obstructionist tactics of the GOP, the more I’m convinced that the Obama camp won’t pick a Veep that would give the GOP a shot at a Senate seat. Obama is going to need a Senate that can push through his agenda.

She is a great, great attack dog, though, and I prefer her over Evan Blah and Tim Kaine’t keep his mouth shut.

  2. I love Claire as well.

I don’t think she’s right for VP but she has been a huge asset to him in this election.

  4. I saw that segment and Tamarin Hall was speechless.

My friend said that she believes McCaskill is the VP Pick, it is a long shot, but she said Obama’s pick will shock folks.

  6. McCaskill, no for VP. She’s a kiss up and Obama is not
even from her state, how does she know him well enough to support him from the beginning, very strange.
