Obama vs. the other guy, 2008

It’s Just Starting to Get Funny

After all the mockery the pundits have been receiving, you’d think Time would come up with a better headline for a new poll showing Obama up 46-41 (the EXACT SAME 5-point lead he had in the June Time poll) than this one:

Honestly guys, it’s just starting to get funny.

  1. I can already see Time’s Nov. 5 headline: “Trouble signs in Obama’s 300 electoral votes.”

  4. Ok, I’ll do it again. You do not want your candidate to peak too early. I got tired of saying it in 2003 (for Dean) and 2004 (for Kerry), but it’s still true.

Since I don’t like to underestimate the enemy, I’m getting mentally prepared for a substitute to be brought in at the Republican Convention, which starts on Labor Day, after the Democrats have finished their love feast.

Think it will let the air out of their balloons to suddenly have to face another candidate/ticket?

  5. Hannah, there is no one else. McCain is performing in polls better than the Republican party brand and better than anyone else would.

I know it’s a popular conspiracy, but McCain will be the GOP nominee.
