Obama vs. the other guy, 2008

McCain Releases “Rezko” Ad

To a seasoned junkie like me, this is very weak tea. I’m looking forward to the Obama response.

  1. It amuses me that some pundits wrote earlier today that Obama should be “careful” because he might embolden McCain to respond with tough stuff like Rezko.

Really, this is what was the cause for worry?

Obama hit the core issue with McCain (out of touch on economy) and drew blood.

    This? Not so much.

  2. That voice-over is so poor. It doesn’t sound like a professional voice-over artist at all, and the entire thing from an audio point of view incl. script smacks of a hurried production to get this on air quickly. I suspect they’ve had the video edited or at least segments tagged for some time and bought this forward as soon as possible. I expect to either see this re-edited, altered or dropped.

  3. Charles Keating should be the response. Keating cost taxpayers over 150 billion dollars. Rezko only cost taxpayers the amount it cost to prosecute him.

  4. The easiest response to the Resko is the Keating 5 scandal. The Democrats who were implicate are not in Congress. McCain is the only one left and Obama should remind folks how much the scandal cost the American people.
