Obama vs. the other guy, 2008

GOP Crowd Boos Gov. Palin for Hailing Hillary Clinton

Sarah Palin is rapidly turning into a major blunder for McCain, and as such I don’t intend to focus much on her in the future, barring some major issue coming to the fore. But for those Hillary Clinton supporters who may be flirting with the GOP because of this pick, you may want to see what the GOP faithful really thinks of her (in case you forgot). Case in point, at a rally in Pennsylvania, Gov. Palin tries to pander to Hillary Clinton voters by complimenting her. The GOP response is less than enthused:

Not the response she was hoping for, I’m sure.

  1. I’m pretty sure they weren’t boo-ing her. They were boo-ing the name and mention of Hillary Clinton. Nothing bad against Sarah Palin. It’s the same way at Barack Obama’s rallies when he mentions John McCain in a speech… his crowd boos at McCain.

In fact, from everything I’ve read and heard, Palin is a great choice. She has pretty much overnight rallied the conservative base around McCain without any lingering reservations. Palin has done for McCain what the DNC convention and Hillary Clinton’s last speech for Obama did for the Democratic Party — unite and solidify them.

Plus, Sarah Palin has the very real potential to bring in new voters to McCain, and I’m not talking about former Hillary supporters, actually, because I’m not sexist enough to think that women can be brought over just because of a woman on the ticket. Rather, Palin has an impressive resume and the character to rejuvinate fiscal conservatism and corruption fighting in government.

  3. Theo is obviously a neocon troll. Impressive resume? LOL. Who are you trying to BS. This is the first important choice that a presidential candidate makes and at 72 years McBush choice is a light weight for VP. This tells you about his judgement.

  8. I would agree that she has more experience than Barrack as her years were spent in her local executive government branches. People never seem to remember that there is a separation of powers in the government, and that Obama has spent his career in the legislative arm. One would have to consider Obama’s anticipated rise to be similar to appointing a non-tenured mathematics professor as the head of a history department.. Not that it cant be done, it just seems that our public sector should mimic the private one in that people’s qualifications for a job are usually judged based on experience in the job-role. Lets admit it, they are both the young bimbo who raises the attention of her boss, so to speak, and gets quickly promoted beyond her abilities.

If you could just realize how ridiculous most of Obama’s promises are, you would perhaps realize it.

    //Just sayin..

  9. And yet another MEDIA misrepresentation of the facts —

You are the first candidate the U.S. has had in a long time that has continued to spread false information from the first time you hit the campaign trail.

I find your technique one of the most offensive I have ever experienced. I find your ethics are on the border of being unethical and your manipulation of the facts most disgusting.

It is common knowledge that the media will always press United States citizens to vote for the candidate who offers them the biggest kick-backs, pay-backs, and over-all “favors”. That is you, Obama.

Then look at your over all personas: Your stance, the way you hold your head, your gestures, the clothes you wear, the pronouns and adjectives you use. Everything about you is the personification of an individual, who does NOT, let me repeat DOES NOT, have the United States citizens interests’ at heart. You are an elitist and the persona I just described is living proof — your entire appearance is proof — FACT — of what I say.

Okay – now let’s talk about education. You have a law degree but did not practice law. Why? Readers – look this one up and you will see why. And, the result is not a positive one.

Then there is the community organizer work you undertook in the state of Illinois. That, too, has been overstated and turned into something “positive” that it in fact was NOT. Dear readers – check this one out yourself as there are many Illinois citizens who will tell you the “truth.”

My education – NOBAMA – is equal to or greater than your education. I do have the same ability as you to influence U.S. Citizens: And I certainly am taking the opportunity to exploit you for what you truly are.

You see I am an educator, who works for a famous “Research One” institution, who has the ability to write Journal Articles that all college students will use for research. The true facts about you will come out and in a place that will most definitely do the most good – to influence voters “young voters” on how to spot an individual who does not represent the United States in the capacity as he states he will. Make no mistake, Obama, people will definitely know the subject of the Journal Articles is referencing you and your 2008 Presidential campaign.

See you in “honest” fact-finding print.
