Obama vs. the other guy, 2008

Oops He Did It Again

John McCain TODAY of all days: “The fundamentals of our economy are strong.”

  1. Well, when you own 11 houses, maybe that’s true!

And you have a billionaire wife!

It’s like Nero fiddling as the world burns.

  2. He isn’t interested in banks failing (Lehman Brothers) or the market crumbling. All he has to do is go to “Mama Cindy” for some cash and he’s in good shape….just like “W” has to go to Papa Bush for cash when he’s strapped. Too bad the conservatives keep thinking McCain will help them keep their money safe. When the market crashes, they won’t have Papa Bush or Mama Cindy to pay their bills.

  3. Except Barack Obama did it again today. According to Americablog, Obama said this morning that

…this crisis is NOT John McCain’s fault – that’s what Obama said this morning, not John McCain’s fault….

Why is Obama making the case for John McCain? As Casey Stengel said, can’t anybody here play this game?

Obama should be cramming this Lehman failure down McCain and Phil Gramm’s throats. Gramm wrote the bill that led directly to the mortgage crisis which led to today’s collapse of 158-year-old Lehman Bros.

  5. Doesn’t anyone know what fundamental means? Seriously, people are about to vote for Obama, yet he doesn’t even understand the word. See, many people are ignorant and don’t understand what it means, and when Obama says McCain is out of touch because of it, they think that McCain meant the Economy is strong, yet that is not what he said. There is a difference between someone saying the Economy is strong and someone saying the Fundamentals of the Economy are strong!!!

    Give me a break Obama…..

  6. The economy is perfect right now! We’re currently experiencing growth rates that outpace the Asian tigers at their peaks! Our unemployment rate is so low that it’s negative! Everything is perfect! EVERYTHING IS PERFECT

  7. I think it is quite immature to try and bad mouth and fault John McCain for having a wife who was and is very fortunate financially. Basically, quit being jealous and act like an adult.
